Coach Mucker started his teaching/coaching career in 2008 Volunteering as a math tutor and 5th grade basketball coach at Southern Star Baptist Church on Algonquin Parkway. That's where the love for coaching grew into a passion. Coaching the elementary team for Joanne Cole under her supervision led to becoming an assistant coach at Noe Middle School in 2010-11. Only a few years later, was hired as Varsity Interim Head Coach at Louisville Collegiate School.
